I love to eat and I love to cook as well. But cooking isn’t a joke. Doing work in the kitchen requires some hard work and experience. Just a simple chopping of onions and garlic would be hard especially for beginners. But having a few useful products can make the job very easy and enjoyable. Thank God for internet because it allows you to search for recipes for making tasty food. It also allows you to know more about the various kitchen and dining products that can make your time in the kitchen hassle-free and enjoyable. And I want to share with you this site that would really help you in making life easier in the kitchen.

This site is a complete guide for browsing through and buying various kitchen products like bakeware, pots and pans, dinnerware and many other cooking tools and equipments.

If you’re just starting or learning how to cook, this site will guide you on everything related to cooking and dining. Plus, every kitchen and dining product has a guide explaining how to use it if you don’t know what you are doing.

Pepper Lunch is a popular steak fastfood DIY restaurant from Japan. They also have outlets in Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia. And I’m so happy to say that they do have outlets here in the Philippines. They have one in Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati and one in Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Ortigas.

My Ate Karen always treats me there. We’ve eaten a couple of times and tried their very flavorful food. But my favorite is their chicken pepper rice. I really love it! Especially if you put some (for me, I put a lot!) of their honey brown sauce…perfect!

Their menu is kinda expensive though but it’s worth it!

Being a mother, we always want the best for our little ones. Especially in my case, I have twin girls and I love dressing them up. I love buying clothes for them. I always consider the price, quality and the importance of the clothing before buying. I do buy their clothes in shopping malls (even if it gets too crowded especially on sale and considering the traffic as well) but now shopping is not a hassle anymore because we can do it even online.

I found this site where it tells us how to shop wisely (value for our hard earned money) for little girls clothing. They have the do’s and don’ts on shopping for our little girls. The site tells us that we should know what our kids really want (casual, dressy, sporty, etc.). We should also take into consideration of the weather (summer, rainy season, etc.). Then, we have to measure our little ones properly and we should remember that the kid’s weight is very important on buying clothes online for it will help us to determine their clothes on the size charts.

My two yayas left already this afternoon. I was teary-eyed and the twins were crying...as a matter of fact they were screaming. They took care of my twins for one year. But they really want to go home because they miss their family. I will miss them for sure. They were like sisters to me. Nextweek, we're going to have new yayas aagin. I just hope they treat my kids right. I hope they will take good care of them just like what our previous yayas did.

Thank you Gemma and Baby for taking good care of my twins. We will cherish all the wonderful times. We won't forget you. Till we meet again....

I'm beginning to worry because my twin girls have not yet started to talk straight yet. They're already 21 months old. Though they babble alot. They call me "mimmy" , their dad, "diddy" and their lolo, "yo-yo". Though there are words that they pronounce right like "dede" (if they want milk), "yaya", "apple", "dog", etc. I've been comparing them with their cousin. My neice was already talking straight when she was 1 year old. She was never "bulol". My ate told me that every kid is different. That's what their pedia told me also. So being a concerned mom, I did some research and I found out that there's nothing to worry about. I read that twins’ language is six months behind: they talk later, in shorter and simpler sentences.

Multiples often engage in “twin talk", a spoken language or a language of gestures and body language. Multiples are often so effective at communicating with each other that their speech and language development can be delayed.

These general guidelines can help you determine if your child could be experiencing a delay:

Between 12-24 months, your children should:
Combine two simple words
Have a working vocabulary of between 10 – 20 words
Be able to imitate some animal sounds
Wave good-bye
Be understood approximately 25% of time by non-family members

Between 24-36 months, your children should:
Ask simple “what” and “why” questions
Have a 450 word vocabulary
Be able to tell their name
Answer “where” questions
Match 3-4 colors
Identify body parts
Use 3-4 word combinations
Follow simple instructions
Be understood at least 50% of time by non-family members

Between 3-4 years your children should:
Use 4-5 word combinations, talking regularly in sentences
Have a vocabulary of about 1,000 words
Begin to name colors
Be able to tell a story
Be able to repeat a nursery rhyme

BORACAY EXPERIENCE

We had our family summer getaway in Bora last week. It was the twins' first time to go and it was our third time naman. The sun was screaming HOT! I was disappointed though because it's not the SAME BORA anymore. Crowded na siya because of the hotels and resorts(dami pa under construction). D' MALL was different also. Very commercialized na. The beach was very malumot also. I'm not sure if we're going back there next year....maybe not.

SUMMER HEAT

We spent our weekend at my parents house last week. My sister and her family were also there. The kids enjoyed their weekend because they were able to play with their cousins. My parents were also very happy to see their grandchildren.

We stayed inside an air-conditioned room all day because it was hot, hot, hot....forget the meralco bill. We can't stand the heat. It's SUMMER indeed!!!

Then my dad told the kids to wear their swimsuits and go outside(terrace area) and take a plunge.....their uncle Jay joined them inside the pool.....

There is nothing as fun and romantic as a getaway vacation on the beautiful island of Boracay. Previously hidden away amidst the thousands of islands of the Philippines, Boracay is now considered one of the predominant travel destinations. From lounging about along the white sands and frolicking in the waters, to taking a part in the thriving and energetic nightlife.

Most people choose to go to Boracay for its attractive beaches. And YES, we're going there this April. I'm very excited! Boracay is very memorable for me because this is where my husband and I fell in love. This is where we had our honeymoon. And now(for the 3rd time), we'll be bringing our two bundles of joy with us. We'll stay at Club Panoly Resort. Oh, I can't wait!

My twin girls love this group...as in!!! That's why I joined my kids one time and now I know why they are amazed with this group. They are all very energetic. The songs are so cool. As a matter of fact, I've memorized some of them. And the most important thing with this show/ group is that it's very educational. By the way, do you still remember the show BANANAS IN PAJAMAS? The producer and creator of this show is the creator of Hi5 as well.

In 1998, television producer Helena Harris, creator of Bananas in Pajamas, created "Hi-5" when her two children outgrew Bananas. She and co-producer Posie Graeme-Evans decided the new show would be aimed at 2-8 year-olds, would include educational trends as fun and games, and would feature music and movement that would attract children's attention.

The auditions for the hosts and the eventual members that would make up the group were held in June 1998, with the first program broadcast in January 1999. Since then, the group has won five ARIA awards for "Best Children's Album" (in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004), won three consecutive Australian Logie Awards (the Australian awards for television performance and production recognition) for "Most Outstanding Children's Preschool Program" in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

My Kitchen Wish List

I love to cook. I can easily whip up a dish in a couple of minutes. I think I inherited my grandmother and my mom's passion for cooking. Actually, even my elder sister and younger brother knows how to cook from scratch. But my first love is Baking. They say cooking comes from the heart . Baking on the other hand is science. You need to follow everything...have to follow the exact measurement. That's why some people get intimidated with baking. Because of my love for baking, I baked cookies for friends and sold some baked goodies as well.

Whenever i surf the net, i always find myself looking for kitchen utensils, high tech appliances and other baking stuff. I just want to share with you my wish list:

3. SILPAT

Silpat is a wonderful stick-free baking mat made of silicone-coated fiberglass. Use it in place of parchment paper on a baking pan for making cookies, rolls, candy, or roasted vegetables. If I ask you where you are going and with whom, you have one chance to tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have a shotgun, a shovel, and five acres behind the house. Be afraid. Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming in over a rice paddy near Hanoi. The loving, giving and gaining, the hurts, hang-ups and hormones, the dyspnoeic dexterity with which we juggle countless different jobs and play many different parts, and the exhaustion it causes, are all inherent parts of women's pilgrimage.

This is my first post and I really don't know where to begin. Maybe, introducing myself would be a nice start...

I'm Che-Che Sales and I'm a full-time mommy to my very adorable twin girls, Sam & Gabbie and a devoted wife to my my very loving husband, Gel. Yup, I'm a full-time mommy...eventhough i have two yayas, I'm still super hands-on to them. I'm the one who cleans their feeding bottles(every single day). I even wash their clothes(I just ask my yaya to hang them).

I still breastfeed my 1yr. & 6mo. old twin girls(and I'm planning to do so 'til they turn 2). My friends always ask me if breastfeeding hurts especially now that my twins have teeth..."sometimes" I say, but I'm used to it already and now I'm just enjoying it. Breastfeeding is just one of our bonding moments.

I'm a stay at home mom and they say it's a very hard job. Very hard job indeed but a very fulfilling one too! I made a choice and I'm PROUD that I made the RIGHT choice to be with my family 24/7. Taking good care of my family makes me happy. I love cooking for them(especially my hubby). I love tending to their needs as well. It's a very rewarding feeling for me...seeing my kids grow with me beside them. Hearing them calling me "Mommy!!!"...I don't want their yaya to be their "other mommy".

I really am blessed to have them. I have no regrets at all or whatsoever.

I love my husband, I love my girls.

They are MY PRIDE & JOY...MY LIFE!!!
