NEW STUFF

My girlfriend, Gay, just arrived last saturday from her short vacation in Singapore. Last Christmas, she gave my twins(her inaanaks) Mammut chairs from IKEA. And now, she bought lots of IKEA stuff for my twins and me also. I'm so happy with these pasalubongs she gave us.

SUMMER HEAT

We spent our weekend at my parents house last week. My sister and her family were also there. The kids enjoyed their weekend because they were able to play with their cousins. My parents were also very happy to see their grandchildren.

We stayed inside an air-conditioned room all day because it was hot, hot, hot....forget the meralco bill. We can't stand the heat. It's SUMMER indeed!!!

Then my dad told the kids to wear their swimsuits and go outside(terrace area) and take a plunge.....their uncle Jay joined them inside the pool.....

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representingyour children)... ., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day.

Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers(representing your spouse).You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT....., because Husband &Wife have to remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!!

Another Gloomy Day

I am sure that everyone has heard the lyrics "rainy days and Mondays always get me down." What about "a gloomy day this Wednesday?" That is what it is today. It seems to make a person do things differently than what they would normally do. I miss the sun...been singing the song of Barney..."Mr. Sun, sun, Mr. Golden Sun. Please shine down on me...."

OUR SUMMER FAMILY GETAWAY 2008

There is nothing as fun and romantic as a getaway vacation on the beautiful island of Boracay. Previously hidden away amidst the thousands of islands of the Philippines, Boracay is now considered one of the predominant travel destinations. From lounging about along the white sands and frolicking in the waters, to taking a part in the thriving and energetic nightlife.

Most people choose to go to Boracay for its attractive beaches. And YES, we're going there this April. I'm very excited! Boracay is very memorable for me because this is where my husband and I fell in love. This is where we had our honeymoon. And now(for the 3rd time), we'll be bringing our two bundles of joy with us. We'll stay at Club Panoly Resort. Oh, I can't wait!

1, 2, 3, 4 - Hi5!

My twin girls love this group...as in!!! That's why I joined my kids one time and now I know why they are amazed with this group. They are all very energetic. The songs are so cool. As a matter of fact, I've memorized some of them. And the most important thing with this show/ group is that it's very educational. By the way, do you still remember the show BANANAS IN PAJAMAS? The producer and creator of this show is the creator of Hi5 as well.

In 1998, television producer Helena Harris, creator of Bananas in Pajamas, created "Hi-5" when her two children outgrew Bananas. She and co-producer Posie Graeme-Evans decided the new show would be aimed at 2-8 year-olds, would include educational trends as fun and games, and would feature music and movement that would attract children's attention.

The auditions for the hosts and the eventual members that would make up the group were held in June 1998, with the first program broadcast in January 1999. Since then, the group has won five ARIA awards for "Best Children's Album" (in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004), won three consecutive Australian Logie Awards (the Australian awards for television performance and production recognition) for "Most Outstanding Children's Preschool Program" in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
